Swedish/Relaxation.

This is a relaxation-oriented form of massage and is the classic idea of what most people think of first when they think about massage. As the best-known type of bodywork performed today, one of the primary goals of the Swedish massage technique is to relax the entire body. Swedish massage is exceptionally beneficial for increasing the level of oxygen in the blood, decreasing muscle toxins, improving circulation and flexibility while easing tension. Aromatherapy may be added to enhance relaxation.

Deep Tissue.

Deep tissue massage therapy is similar to Swedish massage, but uses deeper pressure to release chronic muscle tension. The focus is on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons and fascia. As such, it uses more intense kneading techniques than Swedish. While it's true that a deep tissue massage is generally more intense than that of a Swedish massage, it doesn’t have to be painful to be effective. Request it if you want more pressure than a classic Swedish massage offers, or if you have aches and pains.

Signature Sensory.

Massage is naturally sensory — that’s part of why it works. This option is for men who want a slower pace, fuller presence, and a more immersive style of touch that helps you surrender tension and drop into your body.

It’s still professional, therapeutic massage — simply delivered with more intention, warmth, and flow.

Allow yourself to surrender to the moment without shame, or fear of judgment.

Thankfully, you don’t need to choose just one type - you can choose to blend two of them.

Massage Benefits.

Stress Reduction

Stress reduction.

Massage helps your body shift out of fight-or-flight and into rest-and-repair. When the nervous system settles, breathing deepens, muscles soften, and your mind gets quieter. That’s when stress relief stops being an idea and becomes something you can actually feel.

Oxytocin

Oxytocin.

When you experience a men’s massage, it releases a chemical in your brain called oxytocin. Oxytocin is known as the “bonding” chemical. You can feel more connected, trusting and have a higher sense of well-being. You must be able to fully relax to receive this benefit and you can only do that in a judgment-free and accepting environment.

Endorphins

Endorphins.

This is nature’s pain relief chemical, but it’s more than that—endorphins provide tension relief. When you experience intentional touch, your body is flooded with a release of tension you may not have even realized you were feeling. This kind of touch can reduce fear, apprehension, and worry.

Serotonin

Serotonin.

Serotonin is a mood-regulating hormone and gives a feeling of safety and well-being. The soothing environment I create will add to your overall feeling of safety. You’re free to be who you are, feel what you want to feel while your psyche and body are caressed and understood with respect and care.

Improved circulation.jpg

Improved circulation.

While my skilled and dexterous hands work on your muscles, they increase circulation to those areas of your body. This can reduce fatigue, increase your immune system’s function and help relieve any pain you may be feeling.

During the massage specifically designed with you in mind, I can use as much or as little pressure as you desire. This is your time, so you control the kind of touch you receive.

Reduced Anxiety

Reduced anxiety.

When you enter my calming, zen-inducing studio in Los Angeles or Palm Springs, you will notice your anxiety immediately subside. As we start the massage process, you’ll feel my intuitive hands melt away the anxiety of your day, your job, your personal life and you’ll be enveloped in sensations that are deeply relaxing and grounding, yet invigorating. I will keep your absolute comfort and enjoyment in mind.
