'Men’s Massage' Or 'Gay Massage'? What’s in A Name?

Our clients run the gamut in their sexual preferences. We have many straight clients, and some are bisexual or gay and some are curious or questioning. We don’t ask and we don’t have a ‘sexuality meter’ when you walk through the door. So when a client comes in, are they getting a men’s massage or a gay massage?

But first of all, what makes a massage gay? Is it gay if both the masseur and client are male? If so, does it automatically become a gay massage if there are no female masseuses available at your favorite spa and you get a male masseur? Is a massage gay if both men are gay? What if only one of them is gay? What if the masseur is gay and the client is straight — is that a gay massage? Is it gay if the men’s massage is sensual?

It’s not as simple as that. We use the terms ‘men’s massage’, ‘m4m massage’, and ‘gay massage’ interchangeably. And each of those terms appeals to different audiences. Whichever term appeals the most to you, you’re welcome here.

It’s helpful to note that when it comes to human sexuality, it has 3 aspects: our sexual identity (how we choose to identify); our sexual orientation (our natural inclination); and our sexual behavior (how we actually express our sexuality). The 3 don’t always match up. And no one should judge that.

That is why it is difficult to put the term ‘gay massage’ in a cute little box and tie it with a bow. Some people are sexually fluid and prefer not to be placed in one or the other category. And we welcome all of them. All of you is welcome here. Not just part of you.

We are a gay-owned and run business that welcomes all men, regardless of your sexual orientation. The term you wish to describe our services is up to you. We answer to one and all of the terms.

We want you to relax in the comfort of knowing that we don’t care what your sexual orientation is, but we care that your whole sexuality has the freedom to be expressed here.
